Michael Schimmel sent photos of fiddler crabs, northern water snake, and a five-lined skink that he came across off the beaten track at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach. The hives where Shannon harvests the honey sold in the course’s pro shop are nearby. The glowing red eyes indicate that it is a male. Golf weather forecast for Honey Bee Golf Club, Virginia, United States Of America giving details on temperature, wind speed, rain, cloud, humidity. The range will be closed early or maybe all day for some unknown reason at times. I've never been to a course so eager to rush you off. It seems like alot of the time the staff/marshalls are rushing so that they can get home I suppose. In fact 30 minutes or more before sundown. Problem with that is that they want the carts in very early. Lots of waiting so I choose to play afternoons. Pace can be an issue especially in the mornings. If you are a high handicapper you WILL probably hit houses out here. The fairways are pretty nice although in the fall the leaves are pretty bad. Some of the sand is hard and has shells in them. And some of the par fours and fives cross over water either from the tee or on the approach. The par threes over water have greens back from the water so they're forgiving (very good for me). There is lots of water on the course but for a mid-range handicapper it should not be in play. Rees Jones did a great job with the land he was given. Honey Bee is located just half a mile or so from its sister club, Stumpy Lake Golf Course, so vacationing golfers often find both courses a good choice for all. This is a nice mid-range golf course south of the main beach.
